F-L-O-R-I-D-A

We had a wonderful trip to sunny, hotter than average, Florida. Caden and I were able to spend 2 weeks there and JZ came and met us for the last five days of our trip. It's crazy to think that CP is not even 2 yet and he has been to FL four times! It's even crazier to think that this was our last flight with Caden as a lap child. Next time we'll have to buy him a seat - yikes!

We were lucky enough to have my mom (henceforth known as "GaGa") fly out to CO a week before we left and then fly back to FL with us. It is always nice to have one extra person than children! JZ had to stay behind and work and even flew out to CA before he joined us in FL. While we waited for Daddy to arrived we had tons-o-bun with GaGa and Papa.

We spent a lot of time in the pool.

We also went to the park
and ate a lot of Blue Bell ice cream
and stopped to smell the flowers

and played hide-and-go-seek (well, actually it was more hide than seek. And this is how C hides - standing in the middle of the room, covering his eyes. Sneaky!)

and reading

and going to the beach

Mostly though, we waited patiently for Daddy to arrive. Stay tuned for pics from after Daddy arrived...

A Small Taste of What's to Come

I'm baaaaack!

This morning we arose VERY early to catch a flight back home after a nice long vacation in FL. I have lots of stories to tell and even more pictures that I promise I will eventually get around to posting, but until then, here is my very favorite picture of the 226 pictures I took over our two week trip.

Don't worry, we know Caden's pusher - that is our friend, Payton. She and her Mommy got to come with us too!

Yep, still practicing our sharing around here! Belle has her head on Caden's favorite toy (of the moment), Spot, is laying on his blanket, and has his sippy-cup tucked in behind her. True love!

Wee!

My Caden loves to play. From the moment he gets up to the moment he goes to sleep, all he wants to do is play, play, play. In fact this morning, after he woke up really early, I asked him if he wanted to rock. He said, "No. 'Pay'. Night-night all done." Ok then, play we shall!

He really likes to go outside and play at the park.

He loves to swing

and to go down the "wee"...

He's even getting really good at being able to slide down the big slides by himself.

Somebody is really excited for the warmer weather. I feel like there are many visits to the park in our very near future!

Accessorize

Everyone needs to learn how to accessorize. Even boys. Even with pink sunglasses.
