Meet The Team

This is me (Lindsey) and my handsome hubby Jeremy

I am a wife, daughter, friend, and mommy! I love to sing, scrapbook, and hang out with my boys. I'm a girly-girl that is officially outnumbered by boys. That's ok because I'm getting really good at crashing trucks and making choo-choo sounds.  I am an elementary school teacher by trade, but I am currently on leave to stay home with #1 and #2.  I blog because I like to write.  And a lot of my family lives out of state.  And because my kids are fun and cute.  And because I have a lot to say and most of my day is spent asking little people if they have to use the potty and answering the question, "Why?"  Do I really need another reason?!? 

Jeremy (or JZ as he is usually called here) has an infectious giggle and is always the life of the party. He loves The Simpsons, meat, playing guitar, and, luckily, me! He works hard to support our family and takes his role as husband and father very seriously.  We are all lucky to have him on our team! 

We have been married ten years and I am still madly in love with him.

  We both grew up in Golden, CO, and although we swore we'd never come back, we've chosen to raise our boys in our little town.

Not a bad place to grow up, if you ask us!

Caden Paul is our oldest.

Our sweet, stubborn, lively, personable, loving, spirited, adorable 3-year-old son and is the absolute light of our lives. Caden is all boy. He likes it rough and tumble and has a smile and laugh that light up a room. He loves guitars, drums, pianos, and anything musical. He owns every truck and car known to man and loves Wednesdays because it's garbage day. He'd like to drive a recycling truck when he gets bigger. He is named after his Papa and lives up to the meaning of his name - fighter!  Caden is the spitting image of his Daddy and keeps his Mommy on her toes. Caden is a lucky boy - he is loved, loved, loved!

Asher Robert is our baby.

Our second little one joined our family on March 16, 2012. This little sweetie stole our hearts the moment he entered the world and is pure joy. Asher loves to eat, sleep, poop, and be smooched by his adoring big brother. He is a happy, calm, smiley, peaceful baby and we're so grateful that he made us a family of four! He is named after his late paternal great-grandfather and lives up to the meaning of his name too - happy and blessed!

And then there's Belle.

Belle is our 9 year old Springer Spaniel/Black Lab mix. She is so full of energy that we forget she is not a puppy anymore! Belle loves her squeaky toys, to be scratched behind the ears, and belly rubs. She hates the squirrels, rabbits, and foxes that live behind our house. She has the most annoying, incesant bark that drives me up the wall, but she was our first baby.  Although we forget to show her sometimes, we love her tons and one day I'm going to be really sad that I was so mean to her.
