Sittin' Pretty

All that practice paid off - look who's sitting pretty now!

Not good enough that I'd leave him alone on the concrete, but pretty darn good!

Handy Caden

Caden has a new toy - excuse me, TOOL -  an awesome work bench "just like Daddy's" with "real tools!"
Yep, they're both wearing headlamps.  In the garage.  With the overhead light on.  I didn't ask any questions.  What do I know about working in the garage?

Could he be any cuter?  Handy Manny has NOTHING on Caden P!

And while CP was hard at work outside, Basher was working hard inside.  The work apparently got the best of him though

Need anything fixed?  The Zahrte boys will be right over (as long as they're not sleeping, that is)!

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's Off to FL We Go (Part 4)

**Yikes, I can't believe it's been so long since my last post! I am taking a class to renew my teaching license and EVERY spare moment has gone to reading, writing and reflecting on how to teach phonics and phonemic awareness.  In fact, I'm supposed to be writing a reflection right now.  Maybe later.  Anyway, back to our originally scheduled blog..."**

This is the last and final post about our trip to the sunshine state.

After our week in Orlando we went back to Weeki Wachee for a few days.  While we were there, the boys got to spend a lot of time hanging with Papa and Gaga

They also practiced their swimming (or floating, as the case may be) skills

Check out that splash!

Nice form, Papa!

I think he's ready for surfing lessons!

I love, love, love this one of all three of my boys

Caden and Papa also made us pizza...

...and did a little "work" together

Asher did a little work of his own - trying to sit up...

...and more jumping!

We also took Asher to the beach for the first time!  It was very reminiscent of Caden's first trip to the beach

The boys even got to spend some quality time with each other

Seriously, couldn't you just DIE form the cuteness?!?

And then, before we knew it, it was time to go home.  So we loaded up in the car (with our portable DVD players, of course) and headed back to the Orlando airport.

Where we ate the world's priciest hot dog,

before boarding our plane.  The boys were AWESOME on the flight.  Asher slept about half the flight and Caden slept (!) about an hour and only asked me if we were there yet about 500 times.

Even with the awesomeness, we were all ready to get off that plane.  Including this guy, who was even smilier once we located his car seat.

I can't tell you how happy it made my heart to be in FL.  The sun, the beach, the friends, and the family made it one to remember.
