This adorable little nugget turned 10 months old this week! This was the best picture I could get of him because the dude would NOT sit still!
There's a whole world out there to explore,
and a lot of stuff to destroy!
Mostly though, he'd just like to get through the baby gate and into the kitchen!
Let. Me. In!
At 10 months Bashy weighs in at 21lbs and is thiiis close to being 30in. How do I know that? Well, because Bashy has visited the doctor several times in the last week. Why you ask? Because the first one of our children to have a broken bone is....Bashy!
Yep, sweet Asher has a tiiiny fracture in his right leg. A very dear friend slipped down the stairs while carrying Bash and saved his head and neck by clutching him to her, but his long legs were dangling down the side of her and his leg got a little twisted when they landed. It's a similar fracture to what sometimes happens when kiddos get a leg caught in a crib slat and twist - very minor. He has had two x-rays and his doctor is going to consult an orthopedic doc on Mon. to come up with a game plan. Because he's non-weight bearing, they may decide to do nothing, or they may decide on a cast or splint. Either way, they assure me he will be FINE. The leg doesn't seem to be slowing him down at all. He's crawling at lightning speed, smiling (picture #1 was taken the evening the fracture was confirmed!), and getting all up in his brother's business. I promise to update when we have a plan.
Happy 10 months to the sweetest of the sweet - now get to 'splorin!
