It's Labor Day. You know what that means - the end of summer. Unofficially, of course. Before the pools close, the days get short, and the snow begins to fall, we decided to live it up in the sunshine. So we went to the pool...
A pool with a beautiful view, I might add
and we played
and floated
and noodled (or something like that)
and snacked
and tried to walk in the water...but it was tricky.

I was excited to take him to this pool because it had a seperate kiddie pool that was 1 1/2 feet deep. It was the first time we had been to this type of pool since he has started walking and I thought that it would be so much easier now that he could walk. Wrong. He is still not overly stable on land, and water is even harder. But, he did not want to hold our hand - Mr. Independent wanted to do it on his own. So we hovered over him and tried to catch him when he fell - before he hit the water. Sometimes we were successful, and sometimes he sucked in a little water. Oops.
Here is Papa trying to catch Caden before he hits the water. He got him - by the face. He he he, this makes me laugh every time I watch it!
Caden also spent an afternoon playing with Nana in the water. They had the hose out and were both drenched by the time I found them!

What are we going to do all winter?!?
