I certainly would not have let him "drink" the rainwater off the deck
or his picnic table
I also would not have let him get soaking wet while crawling through puddles
I also would not have let him get soaking wet while crawling through puddles
However, after a rain storm one evening, I was not in charge. Grammy and Papa were in charge. So, before I knew it, they had taken him outside. He was soaking wet, giggling loudly, and trying to pop the bubbles that Papa was blowing for him.
And, after I watched him do this
And, after I watched him do this
and this
I decided I liked the rain after all.
I decided I liked the rain after all.
Thank goodness for grandparents!

So sweet to watch them LEARN new things!! I love witnessing their discovery - even if it means enduring them licking a few things ;)
precious!
What fun!!! My oldest loves to take her younger sisters out to play in the rain...and I love watching them!
Gotta love those grandparents!!
That's what they are there for...
letting your kids do things that you would never let them do!!! LOL
Your son is adorable and he looks like he is having a ball in the puddles! :)
Your little guy is such a cutie! Grandparents are indeed the best. I love to see our kids' relationships with all of their grandparents grow. Thanks for sharing!
