Today we gave Caden his first solid food - rice cereal. It went...well, as to be expected. Most of it ended up on his chin, he kept pushing his tongue in the wrong direction, and it was a BIG 'ol mess. Perfect!

In the end, I'm not sure he loved his soupy mush. I'm pretty sure he thinks it is easier coming out of the bottle, but we'll keep working on it.

So cute! I can't believe how big he's getting. If he doesn't seem to like it, or get it, don't worry. None of my kids really got the hang of it till around 6 months or so. I think one or two of them we stopped and started again later when they seemed more interested. Baby food...the next big experience!
